The Fairfield Elementary School’s annual Scholastic Book Fair is February 4th - 6th in the Elementary Library. This year’s theme is Book Fair Fiesta: ¡Yo Quiero Libros! ¡Vamos a Leer! (I Want Books! Let's Go Read!)
Tuesday, February 4th is Book Preview Day when students preview the books and make their ‘wish list’ to take home.
Tuesday evening - February 4th is the Book Fair Family Event from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. This event is for community members and families to view the Fair and purchase books and other novelties included in the Fair. Students who are accompanied by a parent or an adult may purchase items also.
Wednesday, February 5th is the big sales day. Sale times are before school (7:00 a.m. to 8:15 a.m.), noon recess (11:30 a.m. to 12:45 p.m.), and after school (4:00 p.m. – 5:30 p.m).
Thursday, February 6th - This is the final day to make purchases at the Fair onsite. Sale times are before school (7:30 a.m. to 8:15 a.m.) and noon recess (11:30 a.m. - 12:45 p.m.).
Our Book Fair days will be extended this year by the ability to shop online. Online Book Fair purchases will be added to our in-house purchases. Online shopping is available from Jan. 29th through Feb. 17th. The link ishttp://bookfairs.scholastic.com/homepage/fairfieldelementary1
